It’s been a relatively slow week for new kits as most clubs have already released their shirts for the coming season. However, today features a double release from two Portuguese clubs.
Ok, we know Wolves play in the Premier League, and their team led by a Portuguese manager and squad filled with talented Portuguese players has produced some of the most entertaining football. It appears Wolves pay homage to their affinity for Portugal with their new Third shirt. It features a combination of burgundy with green and white accents reminiscent of the older Portugal kits of the ’90s and ’00s. From one Portuguese club to another, Benfica also releases their Third kit in a familiar design. We’ve seen adidas use this design on a few different kits and it makes its way on to Benfica’s newest shirt which comes in white, black, and gold.
