Release Round-Up July 31st: Real Madrid, Celtic, Schalke & More

Wow, we’re really ending the month with a bang with kit releases from all over Europe. From Spanish giants to talented squads from Portugal and Germany, there’s a little bit of everything mixed in today’s drop.

Atletico Madrid kick off today’s release with their new Away kit for next season. Featured is a navy and red combination with a monochromatic club crest. There’s not a whole lot else going on as it’s a rather safe design. However, it should please Atleti fans next season and is now available here.

Staying within the Spanish capital, Real Madrid release both their Home and Away kits. The Home shirt comes in white with blue on the adidas logo and sponsor. Pink accents have been added to the side stripes and interior.

For their away games, Real will be suiting up in pink. It features a similar design with pink being the dominant color. The Home and Away kits are now available.

One of the standouts for next season is FC Barcelona’s Away kit in a stunning black and gold combination. The black shirt is completed beautifully by gold accents on the sleeves, collar and the front trio made up of the club crest, Nike logo, and sponsor. It should be hitting US retailers in the near future but has just hit the team’s online store.

Portuguese side SL Benfica also join in on the fun with a double release of their own. The Home shirt comes in red, gold and black which feels more reminiscent of Manchester Untied of anything. It’s an interesting change for Benfica with a different shade of red and a bolder design.

While some might complain that the Home shirt is too bold, others might think. the Away shirt is quite the opposite. It comes in black with silver on the adidas logo, sponsor and club crest. The rest of the shirt is kept pretty plain, which might appeal to certain Benfica fans. Both the Home and Away have just released.

Capping off today’s round-up is a trio of shirts from FC Schalke including their new Home, Away, and Third kits. The Home kit comes in the signature Schalke blue with white trim on the sleeves and collar.

From clean and simple to something a bit more unique, Schalke’s Away shirt features a map of the stadium in a sublimated print. Blue accents really pop against the white kit whose design will definitely be a talking point next season.

Finishing off the trio is an interesting Third kit from Schalke in pastel green in melange inspired by linden tree as seen on the city’s coat of arms. Surprisingly, the club’s crest remains intact, while the Umbro logo and sponsor come in what looks to be off white. The 2020/21 range is now available, check out the grab Home, Away, and Third kits today.
